Mission

Our mission is to call attention to the link between substance abuse HIV/AIDS, and hepatitis C in communities of color, and to advocate for the establishment and expansion of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention services.

The task force proposes to accomplish its mission extensive educational activities, including the holding of community forums for both community education and the assessment of community needs, the dissemination of information about the epidemics, and the organization of an AIDS Leadership Coalition made up of persons and agencies interested in combating the spread of HIV/AIDS and substance abuse.
