The Statewide Black & Puerto Rican/Latino Substance
Abuse Task force was created in 1992 in New York as a response of the
high increase of AIDS/HIV and Hepatitis related with illegal use of
Drugs.
The first location was in Long Island City where the Task Force
worked together with the community for six years. Then after, the Task
Force moved out to Jamaica, Queens.. The Task force still remains in that location.
Since July 2003 Task Force is located in Brooklyn.
Our committed staff includes people
from all cultures and races compromised to help in cases of drugs, AIDS
and Hepatitis.
