The Statewide Black & Puerto Rican/Latino Substance Abuse Task force was created in 1992 in New York as a response of the high increase of AIDS/HIV and Hepatitis related with illegal use of Drugs.

The first location was in Long Island City where the Task Force worked together with the community for six years. Then after, the Task Force moved out to Jamaica, Queens.. The Task force still remains in that location.

Since July 2003 Task Force is located in Brooklyn.

Our committed staff includes people from all cultures and races compromised to help in cases of drugs, AIDS and Hepatitis.

 

Our compromise is to serve our community in drugs, AIDS, VHI and hepatitis cases related.
